Puyallup Art and Wine Walk
Over the weekend of October, 2 – October, 4 we had a tremendous amount of traffic. Between our ribbon cutting ceremony and participating in this years art and wine walk, we had roughly five hundred people come through our doors. We had an incredible time at both events. During the ribbon cutting we had the pleasure of hosting many locals including the chamber of commerce, as well as some political figures. The mayor of Puyallup joined us and some of the chairmen. The more intimate and ceremonial event was the perfect way to christen our business and all the hard work we’ve done. You can check out some of the work that went into this new gallery on Facebook.
The next day marked the 2015 Puyallup art and wine walk. We decided to participate this year and the Main Street Association couldn’t have been happier. Being the only art gallery left in Puyallup it would have been a shame to hold an art and wine walk without an art gallery. There as an incredible out pour of people that showed up to sample some wines from local vineyards. This was a great opportunity to showcase the work to our gallery further, get our name out to the public, and attempt to sell artwork. All in all I’d say this year Puyallup had more than a successful art and wine walk. During the event we had a gift basket give away. People signed up for a drawing and a chance to win a wine basket. Well we have a winner, I’d like to congratulate Katie Hart or winning our drawing. Katie has since received her basket and was quite happy to have at least won something. “I was just happy to win something, I never win anything.” She had remarked to me.
